    A

    This free Specialist Bereavement Service, delivered by Amparo for residents in mid and south Essex, provides emotional and practical support for anyone who has felt the impact of suicide at any time (recent or historical).

    The  service is completely confidential and can provide short-term or longer-term support. It is also available to bereaved children (Aged between 4 and 11 with agreed appropriate adult)  and young adults (Age 11 upwards).

    Experienced Liaison Workers, aim to make initial contact within 24 hours of a referral being received, offer residents:

    • Support in their homes or wherever is most comfortable to the resident.
    • One to one individual support
    • Help with any media enquiries
    • Practical support when liaising with the Police or Coroners including preparing for and attending inquest
    • Help overcoming feelings of isolation

    Frontline is a community project and helps frontline workers and the public to find details on local health and wellbeing services

    Fair Havens Hub offers a wide range of facilities, activities, and therapies to enhance wellbeing, help people live independently with their condition for longer and help make the most of life:

    • Physiotherapists can help with a range of symptoms through groups and individual sessions
    • Occupational Therapists can help with rehabiltation, assessment and advice
    • Wellbeing and spiritual support for patients, their carers and family members

    The Wellbeing Team provides wellbeing and spiritual support for patients and families who have been referred to Little Havens or Fair Havens.

    Samaritans provides a 24 hour, 7 days a week advice line.

    This is a multidisciplinary service including Care coordinators, HCAs, pharmacy and intensive social prescribers.

    The team completes complex geriatric assessments and premptively intervention on needs of patients living with frailty. The aim is to support independence and the quality of life of patients and be a point of contact for any need.

    The wellbeing team offer a range of life-enhancing therapies, help with accessing benefits and local services. They provide emotional, mental health, social, and spiritual support.
